Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] status report
Hi, my pictures are listed under "Brian Cox" ESMAE etc.. Ferro-cement construction offers a lot of versatility as far as shape and strength especially for my present application but please be aware that I am not attempting to build a ferro-cement structure that will be used a pressure hull. I am using a steel hull engineered for a reasonable depth. I am using the ferro-cement shell to support all the various components of my sub, battery pod, ballast tanks, pressure hull etc.. Apparently there was a discussion here back in '99 on reinforced concrete as a pressure hull and as an underwater habitat(just do a search on concrete). And the person describing the design was very knowegeable on the subject.
