Those types of viewports aren't a strong in the long
run as solid ones that use a retainer. Acrylic will
stress as it ages, and the more edges and reliefs
there
are in the viewport...The more dangerous it will be as
it ages. I don't know how big a deal this really is
for most subs, but that is why the retainer style is
more popular.
