Sorry, that isn't the way it works. You can't vent overboard against ambient pressure. If your chamber is pressurized to the bottom hatch and you vent at the top of the chamber, you will flood the vehicle. The long string of bubbles will be you emitting the last epiphanous shout of realization, just before drowning.
