The reason that batteries have to be enclosed in a pressure tight pod or be
pressure compensated is of course because of the air space in the battery.
The rest of it is either solid or liquid.  I suppose if you filled each cell
totally with fluid it could withstand any depth, couldn't it?????

I don't understand what your want to do with micro beads.
