Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] How do you do it?

Carl,

I also had and still have many ideas about sub designs. I actualy started
building a grp sub about 20 years ago. It never worked out because i didn't
have enough money and time. Maybe if i ever finished it i wouldn't be among
the living anymore. At this moment i am trying to get to the "Carsten
Point", i mean the point at which you decide to actualy build the thing. In
order to reach that point as qiuck as possible i want to go for the most
simple design. Not that designing something simple is simple. But simplicity
usualy means safety, easier to make and lower costs. So every time i start
thinking about acrylic domes, autopilots, high speed, diving to 1000 mtr.
and so on i send myself back to basics.

Good luck,

Thijs Struijs
