I'm not suggesting that we set up requirements for dealing with the
media.   I think we need to let those with experience doing this tell
us what has and has nor worked to their -- and our -- benefit.

It has always helped me to think of the media as selling advertising
space before it transmits information.    That seems to explain a lot
of what I see on TV and in the newspapers.
