You may have to check with someone more accustom to working with pipeline
plumbing to find WELD on end caps.  Gas pipelines and some water main pipes
use them.  If you have accessibility to McMaster Carr sales here in the USA,
they have them in their catalog.  Or look for McMaster Carr on line.
