You are not out of your mind, but there are no PWMs
that large that I know of. Try those forklift dealers.
Also, electric cars generally use serious PWMs, but
I'm
not sure how large. You can find suppliers for
electric
car conversion parts online. Many cities even have
electric car building and racing clubs. You can build
one that large, but you should really consider why
you need that much current. Large RC electric planes
use PWM DC-to-3Phase controllers, but I have never
seen one for sale. Good luck. I'd like to hear if you
have any success.
