Dave

250 amps @ 24 volts is a big pile of batteries!  But I did see a controller around that size on E-bay once.  Check in out from time to time.  The largest equipment that I can think of that may use something that heavy is an electric forklift. We used to have one at one time but I don't know the actual amperage.  Maybe a dealer could give you some insight.

Good luck, Dan H.

Does anyone know where I can find a PWM (or other) style speed controller for a 24 volt system that can handle up to 250 amps? Any info regarding these would great, unless I'm totally out of my mind...
