Hi Everyone,

I've been lurking here off and on for a while now and figure it's time 
to introduce myself.

I'm in my mid twenties, I work not quite full time at DOER designing 
and building ROV telemetry systems and whatever else comes up.  Before 
the .com implosion I was a Project Manager and Network Engineer.

My current area of expertise is micro-controllers and using them to 
interface various pieces of off the shelf hardware together.  I also do 
some com system design, some machining, and some electronics.

As one can guess from my working at DOER I'm located in the SF East Bay 
Area, Ca, USA.

If anyone has any questions about compasses or other electronics I'd be 
happy to answer them.

At this point I don't plan to build my own sub any time soon.  If 
anyone needs help with stuff I'm good at on their sub I can probably 
make time to help out.
