I thought that co2 compressed more, and so you could get more in a bottle
than compressed air.

Wouldn't CO2 be a little harder to get tham plain old compressed air.
Used Aluminum 80 scuba cylinders are cheap on the used market and fairly
easy to come by and probably the preferred tank.  For the O2 you could
use AL80 cylinders also, just get them "O2 Clean" at a dive shop.
