Thanks for your prompt response - what I meant by 'sharpen your
pencil' was that we dont want to pay list for a motor that we may well
scrunch in taking it to a thousand feet! We would to power up at step
depths which would show increase in current draw due to shaft seal
tightening, distortion, etc., Our electrical test pressure chamber goes out
for $200 an hour with operator and it will take about half a day to set up
and test. I'm willing to run the test for nada because I'm curious to see
how the low cost units perform - particularly at any significant depth -
I presume you modify the seal to operate at depth. Could you give
me idea of what that entails? or, I guess what I'm asking is whether or not
you have pressure tested in the past or have some reason to think the unit
will be able to hack it at a thousand feet??? Please respond off-line, to
