Well, over on the rebreather list, there's been a long thread about the FBI
investigating scuba diver certification and interest in rebreathers because
of the terrorist threat (rebreather divers don't have bubbles). Seems
there's an agent on the list that has just been outed, although he says
he's there really because he's a rebreather himself. Some on the list who
are dive instructors also confirm visits by FBI to their office to obtain
student lists of recent certification. So . . . if they're looking at the
divers, how can they possibly ignore submariners? Hmmm . . . maybe a
convention would be a good place to scope them out? Just kidding guys!

Although one dealer posited that the best thing he could do to try to kill
terrorists would be to sell them a rebreather <g>.   And . . . if you
notice a great lack of bubbles near any bridges, be sure to report it <g>.
