Ahem... Technically, it's rather about the crew trying to _prevent_ the 
meltdown ;) They had a coolant leak (they used liquid metal, if I remember 
right) and had to make quick repairs before the whole thing blew up from 
meltdown. 8 folks died later on from being exposed to critical doses of 
radiation. Should be a good and very dramatic movie.
