With an ambient sub, you won't get water leaking in, rather air leaking
out. Not a problem so long is it isn't too much of a leak.

For an ambient sub it shouldn't be difficult to make a swivel light.
Your pressure differential is so small that you may even be able to get
an old police light and modify it with a some epoxy and O-ring seals.
Starting with something like that is usually easier that starting from
scratch. If it leaked a drop now an then, what's the diff?? 

To calculate the power draw, it's like anything else electrical.  The
amperage is the wattage divided the voltage. 100 watts / hour of use @
12 volts = 8.33 amp hours battery drain
