Very cool slide show indeed.  The sub is Phil Nuytten's DEEP ROVER.  There's no date on the slide show, but I'm thinking this was maybe back in the '80s?

 

Phil shared some of his home movies with me; one is of DR off the coast of Hawaii (Makapuu?) in '85.  What I like best about that segment is the barge Phil came up with.  Gets towed to the site, and then submerges to serve as an "underwater aircraft carrier" that DEEP ROVER can launch from and recover to without the problems associated with surface boats, cranes, rolling in the swells, subs swinging on cables, and so forth.
