Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] K-350 on ebay
Yes,
Most offerings are real or eBay as a popular auction medium wouldn't of
lasted so long. I bought a shotgun reloading press, a few books, a
video "Above Us the Waves" :) and a music CD from eBay ads.
One protection is to make sure the sellers have a good selling record.
Another is to see it yourself. Short of that talk to the seller and ask for
more info. If they send you any pictures pass them to the group. If those
pictures already exist on the web we would probably know. You want to see
actual pictures of their stuff.
An interesting thing in this case is the text of the Description.
Except for the last line it matches the orginal text of the eBay ad
that I eventually put at Picture Gallery -> eBay: K-350. What you see
on the web site is after I formatted a bit but looking at the
actuall .dll file I copied from eBay the text was line-for-line
perfect.
In that old ad the seller used the image from LakeDiver of a K-350
hanging from a crane. Does he really have parts? I don't know. So far
I have only seen borrowed pictures.
I don't know if it is the same person or not. In the old ad the seller
was emailcsimone and in this ad the seller is csdepdog@optonline.net.
My recommendation is to approach this ad with caution. Ask for proof.
Regards,
Ray
