Exactly (Lexan is very brittle). But don't be fooled into thinking Acrylic 
(yes, I mean the Plexi) isn't brittle, because I learned 3 things about it: 
it's very strong, when force is applied slowly; it's very brittle, when force 
is applied fast; and don't cut it fast, or it melt back together--in fact, 
cut a bit, then remove the saw and let the blade and the Acrylic cool down.
