[PSUBS-MAILIST] Online Sub Photos

Wow! I just experimented with the "Google" Images tab. Go to
www.google.com, which is in my experience the best search engine on the
net. Look above the subject line and click on "images" instead of "web",
then type in "submarine" in the subject line and you'll get 16,000 (!)
photos with a "thumbnail" image for each. Try again with plural
"submarines" and get another 7,000 hits. On some you can "backtrack" the
source address by copying the address, pasting into the browser address
line and deleting the end of the address to get to the original website.
Talk about wired!

BTW, my antivirus sw has stopped a *really* nasty virus from lists several
times that's circulating on the net right now called the W32/Klez.h@MM. I
got it from the rebreather list yesterday. this one doesn't require an
attachment, comes in body of email and mutates continually once in your PC,
hiding from the antivirus sw. Some have had to wipe windows and upgrade to
Windows xp to get rid of it. Practice safe net, get good antivirus SW!

>Klez got into my computer and buried itself and mutated. If it gets in, the
>longer it stays, the more havoc it reaks. I stayed up all night running
>Norton's latest, and it kept doing a quarrantine of different versions of
an Eckern
>virus, meaning it kept finding new manifestations.

>After 40 runs, it finally didn't find any. However, a day later, it started
>all over. Finally, I erased a few directories and upgraded to Windows XP,
>and I think I have resolved the problem.
