Adam,
We did an ultrasonic pattern on my old K-350 when trying to determine how 
much material was lost to corrosion in the bilge areas. Too much, as it 
turned out, so my summer project is to rebuild it. For the welds this time, 
we won't bother with x-ray. The ultrasonic stuff is so good nowadays that it 
will suffice on its own.
