       yes, you can print screen, but it might give you a very oddly colored image. also, remember that when you put anything into paint, it gets pixelated, one of the things i utterly despise (pixelatoin, not paint). therefore, when you save this pixelated screen shot as a jpeg, it's going to be a quite low-quality shot, not something used for images requiring high-definition or with small font (or weird font) text in the image. 
       your best bet would be to try to convert the image some other way, and preferably not using paint--paint is a good program to make images, but if you need the high-definition of a jpeg, don't even think about using it (pixelation).
       i'm not saying don't try to take the screen shot, i'm only saying it will most likely not turn out as good as you would like.
