I am not a christian either, but there seems to be some sort of truth in the story. There is a theory that the Black Sea once was more or less dry. It was separated from the Mediteranean Sea. It seems that about 6000 years ago the ridge between the two seas collapsed in a catastropic way. In a very short time the Black Sea originated. During recent research they discovered that the floodline was about 100 mtr. lower than today. It must be interesting to make a tour around this sea at a depth of 100 mtr. Maybe a nice project for Carsten.
