Nope.
If you're using the UC2637, how are you going to
generate the feedback information on the voltage (or
the speed)? If you're using a resistor/shunt it should
support more than 100A with a value as small as
possible....
This is not a closed loop speed control to keep it simple. It is open loop with a current limit. The current sense resistor is limited to a voltage of 0.2 volts. If we want to keep the peak current to 50 amperes the resistor would have a value of 4 milliohms.
