I agree that if we went to them and said a bunch of PSUBers (sub mad men?) wanted
to take over the lake they would say NO out of hand.

I agree we need a plan to present. Then if they say NO they have to be specific about
why. After all we thought it all out carefully and have a plan to keep everyone save.
Why can't we do it? What is wrong with the plan?

Good idea. Keep them coming.

I can't say about visibility as I have only been around the lake, not on it. 
I would assume pretty bad.  When we do something in Florida we can dive as a group.

Yep. Lots of things that could be done. The possibilties are staggering. 
Again its great to pop ideas up in the forum but who is going to do the work?
Any voluteers?

The convention has three main prongs to focus on:

	OMSI
	Meeting
	Regatta
	
I can see each one of those quickly consuming the efforts of an individual. Even a whole team.
While local guys can do leg work there should be convention subteams (pun intended)
to work ideas. Any voluteers?
