[PSUBS-MAILIST] History storys was Re: More youthful wetsub experiences
True is :
There are three german subs (XXI) from WWII covered
under there blown up pen in Hamburg, two more
under there blown up pen in Kiel (XXIII and VIIC).
I have dived and seen three of them in Hamburg. The
two others in Kiel was dived by a commercial diver
in the sixties before the mud gets to high.
The last real existing Uboot VIIC in the water
was seen in spain in the 70ies.
There are no other german U-boats in coves,
shelters or fjord anywere in the world.
There were no build secret base in south-america,
no build underwater station and no under the ice.
It is true that they have refueled VIIC boats
from bigger subs with both subs driven underwater.
It was true that in the 70ies sometimes a Uboat
sail on the British South coast comes out the
beach sand during low tide - it is not true that
it is still operable..
