I got my serious start with Markham's plans, though I'd been
collecting stuff since I was about 6.

I bought the Scuba Tow plans first.  I wanted to add a collar
that would surround the head and chest of the diver.  I can't
dive because is epilepsy, but snorkeling under power was not 
prohibited.  One thing led to another, and the final idea
looked a lot like a Marder.

I still think it would be a good idea, but I have since 
learned that I'd need a good depth finder as low-end
sonar, at the very least.
