In the design. In other words, I've dimensioned the hull so the spreadsheet calculated failure depth is 3,000 feet. I intend to use the sub no deeper than 1,000. And I would not do that unless I had tested it unmanned to 2,000.

You have a safety factor of 3 in your DESIGN, or the SPREADSHEET ?
