hey all,
this is my first post, and i have no qualifications except for a curiousity.....but, seeing as i believe psubs should not be limited to lakes and harbors within the test depth of the craft, the lift bag system seems to be the safety system those deep-water submariners are looking for. if you get into trouble out there, instead of resting on the bottom (seeing as you'd be dead) you just pop the bag and you're on the surface. also, you save the ship, and the only monetary costs are a new scuba tank and perhaps a bag--well, pride might suffer, but hey, it ain't yer life. well, there's my two cents worth--
