[PSUBS-MAILIST] Underwater Comms.

Okay boys,

 

I don't know if this has been discussed, but I was wondering how two subs tend to communicate with each other under the surface.    Do they use an underwater speaker and a hydro-phone and use something similar to morse?  Or how does this work...  or can it work?  Any way...  just want some info on it...
