Ray, DXF is a standard output file format readable by most CAD packages. Large assemblies (such as complete subs) would be too large for e-mail attachment, but for simple solids, such as the
hollowed-out ring stiffener being discussed, it could aid an explanation that is difficult to get across with words alone.
