[PSUBS-MAILIST] Domes versus flat

How much visual distortion is there in an acrylic dome compared to a flat view port?  I noticed that all of the Nuytco vessels and the K250 have domes, where as all others seem to have flat viewports.  Phil, how is the view from inside the Lama helmet?
