Don't look now, but MIT ...    .... might also be looking into a power 
source that eats organic materials-such as food.

I have seen in the news a little red robot that looked like a miniature red 
wagon that would find and eat sugar cubes.  Back when I saw the article the 
system would only work on pre-processed sugar, but who knows where they're 
at now?  Next up we'll be designing subs with krill strainers on the bow to 
feed and power our subs!
