Sarah,

It was posted last night, I proposed a vertical disk, diameter same as your original sphere,
perhaps 2' wide - a hamster wheel rather than a hamster ball, if you will.

The training wheels stick out from the "hub" so the thing doesn't fall over and lay there on one
side.

Mike Holt seems to envision a version of this with several refinements, I'm hoping he'll explain
further what he sees.
