Cost varies with battery type (purpose) and size.  As I recall, the OPTIMA
was about twice the cost of a regular lead-acid automotive "cranking"
battery; but only about 10 percent higher than other deep-cycle batteries
designed to power electric motors (which is what I needed).  FFI: you'll
need to contact the nearest dealer with your specific requirements.  The
OPTIMA website has a listing.
