   As is apparent by now, The only thing I learned about hydraulics, and
steam, for that matter, in my many years in industry, was to steer clear
of it. 
   But it is good to know that intuitively, I came up with something
that will work. ;-)
Your correct about the only valve will be on the grabber to lock it into
position. 

   In reference to the Hydraulic Link, I have never book marked anything
that fast in my life! Thank you very much.
