Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] new pictures

Hi Dale - The Thruster are still on the same place - as visible
in the conceptional drawing - just a little more diameter.
There are not bowthrusters on the model..

Stern section is now in the same stage as the bowsection.
Friday I will get the mainshaftpipe complete with the internal
bearing complex. Last friday arrived all three endcap-hatches
complete with the centerhole and the nut for the o-ring.
700 mm in Diameter and 65 Kg (140 pound) heavy - each.
Looking for a strong double action axis spring..

Work runs good on the yard with all the cranes, forklifts and
some other equipment. Its need an half hour, two guys and a medium size
mobil crane - just to move a 2,5 m diameter endcap from one side
to the other..

At the moment I work 10 hours a day and 6 days the week on the main job
-
the 7th days I spend 12 hours on the sub - at the same yard..
I get tired and will slow down the speed a little to save my power
and body for the next 3-4 years work - is still just a hobby ..

Ice is gone .. anymore dives with Snoppy ?
And one endcap weighs more than two times - Sgt.Peppers..

Maybe we should use this as meassuring scale :
(Solve the problem with the imperial and metric units..)

1 Snoppy Sub equal to 2 Sgt.Pepper units,
1 CSSX sub equal to 114 Sgt.Peppers units or 57 Snoppys..

see you - Carsten
