[PSUBS-MAILIST] Need advice, new builder.



Hi, Stan:
         Don't use Lexan or any other polycarbonate (Macrilon, etc.,) as a
view port material. It is not suitable for this application, particularly
in thin sheet (1/4") and most particularly if bolted - through. It does not
turn 'brittle' as was mentioned in an earlier post - just the opposite. Use
Acrylic G - (Plexiglas, Perspex, etc.) - go over-kill in thickness . .
.it's cheap like borscht, so no need to go bare minimum. Good luck on your
