[PSUBS-MAILIST] casting acrylic
I read in the archives that acrylic resin is
between 10-15 dollars a liter, is this the same as they use to make cast
hemispheres, could it be as simple as making a form pouring in the resin ( maybe
apply a vacume to get rid of the any air bubbles) heat shrink and the anneal the
final product. I realize making the molds would be hard, but I can make
fiberglass molds fairly easily, what have I heard about a pressurized
oven, please enlighten me.
