[PSUBS-MAILIST] Questions for new guys

I have been quietly watching in the background at all the discussions about 
everything so far, and I have to say that the information everyone has given 
is very good to the guys like myself who want a sub. I am currently a 
graduating engineering student at the University of Alabama studying 
Metallurgical Engineering. I am also an advanced scuba diver, and I put 
myself through college by working as a ASM certified welder at varios 
fabrication shops. So, I have probably better than average understanding of 
the theories and building of my own sub. I just don't know where to begin. I 
mean I have a rough idea of what I want mine to look like, but I think I 
would be very flexible in designing it. I have decided that I would like to 
build my sub to meet certification standards, so I guess buying the $75 book 
is a starting point. Other than that I have searched the Internet over and 
over for various items that I can't ever find. Such as... How much is 
insurance on a 2-person sub? Where can you but acrylic windows, or custom 
domes like I see on some? Is there a place that a person can see what other 
sub people have for sale besides Ebay? (like books, hatches, designs... or 
whatever) I would appreciate any help...
