[PSUBS-MAILIST] Riveting has been mentioned



I don't know anything about riveted hulls (except that, according to
legend, by their noises one can tell when the skipper is going a bit 
too deep).

I have here a book about building 200-foot cargo ships during
WW1, and those hulls were rivted.  But that's all I have.

Might there be some advantage to riveting?
