I see nothing wrong with the one that's there -- Carsten's will look
a lot like it -- but I see your point.  Not many of us are going to
build something that large.

My first choice would be a Bushnell's TURTLE. because of the 
symbolism of simplicity and the recognition value.  Second would be
Lake's ARGONAUT JR, but only a submadman would recognize and 
understand that.  Third would be a K-250.

But very attractive is the NAUTILIUS from 20,000 Leagues Under the 
Sea (problem there is that the NAUTILIUS most recognize is 
Disney's, which is not like the one Verne had in mind).

Offhand, though, I'd say leave it alone because it has acheived
a certain amount of recognition.  Marketing can be important.
