Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] trolling motors?

Hi Ken,
No I did not receive your schematic. Did you try my fax number ? 787 278 1505
By the way are'n t breakers enough to prevent from high current in case of a jammed prop ?
My Resortsub2000 was a IVC Sportsub.
In the mean time I designed my Seahorse Dry ambient sub for which I beleive I am the first one to build a dry ambient sub . Though I did not invent anything but the "design" (Appearance) since the sub works with known principles and existing parts / equipment.
Not only I comply with USCG regulations but it is much more confortable. This design allows the construction of a sub at reasonable cost vs 1 atm sub without the hassle of ASME / ABS.
The sub is still very safe with no possible life threatening situations since the occupants can escape the sub in no time. I usually dive in the depth of 30 / 50 Ft (max 130Ft)
To design the Seahorse  was very challenging and more complicated than in a 1 atm sub because of numerous hydrostatic problems.
Then I decided to rebuilt my Resort sub entirely including my dry ambient pressure cockpit design.

All,

Actually, Herve's more into underwater technologies than is apparently generally known.  Among other things, he builds a variety of submarines, rebreathers, and a unique submersible catamaran called the LIFERAFT which can carry and launch a minisub.

I've had his URL in my "Favorites" file for a long time; check it out at:

Herve, something I've wanted to ask you: on your website is a submarine called RESORTSUB 2000 which (to my eye, anyway) looks a lot like the IVC SPORTSUB.  What's the story on that; any connection there?

VBR,
