I think it's a K250, indeed, but I'm not sure. I took the pictures when heading to Key West, leading a bunch of guys barely interested in subs and didn't want to spoil their fun taking the time to ask around about it. The only thing inside was a crank to spin the propeller.
 
At the time, NOAA wanted to turn the Keys into a sanctuary and fishing, diving, etc would not be allowed anymore so the shopkeeprs were protesting against it trying to protect their businesses (not too dificult to understand, there are many fishing, boating and diving shops all the way down to Key West).

Thanks for the advice. Sometimes I get a bit excited obviously.
 
It's a great site and a credit to the creators and contributors. I had been a sub enthusiast for years before I discovered PSUBS site and I'll never forget how rapt I was when I first looked. There were other Submadmen out there !
I enjoyed the pictures of the sub, is it a K250 ? What does it mean with Sanctuary with a X through it ?

I fully understand your reasoning but I can not agree.
May I suggest you something ? Simply ignore who botters you, and keep contributing, sharing your thoughts with the ones interested. Giving up the group is kind of a reward to guys intending exactly that while punishing your fellows.

Sorry all,
I've tried to be nice, I've tried to offer suggestions and ideas, I've tried to be politically to correct the group.
What I don't need is somebody like Craig in my life. For whatever reasons people drop off from contributing to this group, this I is mine. I won't stand back and have my country etc ridiculed or watch others be ridiculed simply for well intentioned ideas. Craig, you are not a nice person, I know that does not bother you :-) I'll be back when you pull your head in or it's pulled in for you. I'm done with trying to be nice to you, I'll leave that to others, I can't do it anymore ! As for your offline contacts from the group, give me a break, I won't believe that unless they contact me off line to confirm this.
