Seahorse No.1 diesel/electric/hydraulic was sold to middle east or east
asian
as workboat and used there. I have heard that it was badly dammaged and
is scrapped.
Seahorse No.2 diesel/electric/hydraulic (the boat I was in) were build ,
but the goverment give no licence to export the boat to east-asia
(Taiwan?)
and the boat get in storage at the factory. I don't no were the boat is
at the moment
but it was also for sale with number 3 last year. It is clear a better
opportunity as No.3 and thats indicates it is also sold to somewere.
Seahorse No.3 diesel/cycle-argon-lye/electric/hydraulic in now the
US.Cosair.
No.3 was a experimental sub payed partly or complete from our
Ministery for Research and Technology to promote the new underwater
engine plant.
I give here the first page of the Report of BMFT Reference 524-3894-MTK
0323 6 .
"The Experimental Submarine Seahose-KD is a fully operational autonomus
test platform
for an air independent propulsion system based on a closed cycle diesel
engine.
The Argon-Diesel known as MOTAK was a contribution from MAN Technologie
AG, Munich,
which also included progress technology and control. Within the Argon
cycle the exhaust
gas is cooled down, cleaned from CO2 in a rotary scrubber and fed into
the engine again
after addition of oxygen. On surface, the engine can be operated on
ambient air.
During closed cycle operation, no media are exchanged with the ambient.
The process works
independently from the deep."

Yes - I have here the general-plan and some information
of Tiburon T III b type - also a great midget. But she is a
"man of war" and about 40 percent of here length is for the
both torpedotubes. If I find time and if I in the area I will
visit one of the both displayed boats (WWW.Webtagon.com/Submarines).
D Seahorse, SP/G Tiburon, GB X-craft, D See-Elephant,
and the US boats of S.Lake and Mr.Holland are the roots for CSSX.
