There are also "book on demand" houses springing up, that specialize in
keepiing out of print books in print, by printing them out one at a time on
a Docutex machine as the orders come in.

Expensive, compared to a real mass published book, but not that expensive.
Busby would probably cost around $40. I suspect increasingly we will see
folks like the gov printing office and the univerities turning to this.

As far as the question someone else asked, what's wrong with a CD, I happen
to like the feel of a book in my hand, plus you can't read a CD at night in
bed to get to sleep. Besides, how can a CD get dogeared?
