Item Description:		
	There is NOTHING as exciting as owning your own submarine! This is a great opportunity to own a SportSub submersible for a fraction of the new-sub cost. A new SportSub is US$35000.00, and the reserve is just over 1/3 of that so you can see what a deal this is. The sub can run at 3 knots and dive to 130ft. 
This SportSub submarine was built in 1992 and refit in 1995. It comes complete and ready to use, including brand new batteries, new scuba tanks and a new battery charger. A training manual for the 3 person model is included - the principles of operation are the same and the manual does a better job of covering training than the original SportSub manual. I can include the SportSub manual as well if you want.

Principles and Details of Operation  
The SportSub is an ambient pressure submersible. When inside the sub, you are warm and dry from the waist up. No diving gear or breathing apparatus is worn. You talk and breathe normally in the controlled air of the cockpit.  Once set at the surface, the sub maintains neutral buoyancy automatically throughout the flight. This allows you to maneuver the sub much like a helicopter. You can fly straight up and down, hover, rotate in your own length, and fly in forward and reverse.  Because the sub is ambient pressure, you can enter and exit the sub at any depth. This is great if you spot some sunken treasure! 
The sub weighs only 1250 pounds so it can be towed on a
trailer and launched at a boat ramp, or can be carried aboard your yacht and launched with a davit. 
The pilot must be a certified scuba diver. The passengers must be able to swim.
