I can't imagine designing the Rescue Vehicle itself taking on extreme angles 
like that in order to mate with the downed sub.  It seems to me the solution 
would be in designing some sort of articulating escape trunk from the RV 
which mates to the downed sub.  I would imagine that's already been thought 
out...
