I can.  News like this is too impersonal to sell advertising time.
No one who isn't "in the community" really cares about or 
understands what's going on, and the mass media knows
that.   Now, a celebrity murder or a lead drummer getting 
busted for carrying cocaine, THAT'S important to the
average guy.   

Does anyone recall the news coverage of the "No Time
On Our Side" event?  I think it was sidebars on the front
pages for the first day, then it retreated inside.

On the engineering side of this, have we heard anything
about how to design a rescue sub that will mate at that
extreme angle?

We can be happy, however, that at least this accident
doesn't seem to include massive release of radiation.
