Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] External frames
Jon,
Interesting site, big future in this kind of propulsion it seams. I had
given this idea a lot of thought and in a future project who knows. I was
thinking of a 'linear' electric motor (like a solenoid coil action) to
created the power and motion for the reciprocating tail, technology I know
nothing about. But Carsten reckons the motion of the sub would spill the
beer, can't have that !
But for now, what I meant by a tail moving in two planes was simply meant to
give directional control to the motor driven props, mounted on the tail,
improving the directional control of the thrust.
Thanks for the interest and the site.
Karl.
