  Hey Karl:
  Nice to hear from you
again!  I just got back from pulling a sleep-over at the clinic.  We
were short-handed because of a staff member calling in sick so I volunteered
to sleep-over in case of an emergency.  Not much sleep though as this is
an inpatient clinic for the severely mentally disabled.  Hey I'am a big
guy for sure, and not easily scared, but under these circumstances it is
difficult for Sandman to do his job. So obviously I'am kind of groggy at the
  moment.
  The address for Silvercrest is:

For a better look at the Ben Franklin, go to:

And to get a look at my current favorite as well as I think
  Carsten's, go to:

Figure using LOX as we discussed in an earlier string and
the closed-circuit diesel version of TRX(SeeHorse).
All kinds of subversive and deviant possibilities come to
  mind.
Oh, they would make great content for a submarine action
novel.  Much more interesting than U-581.
The novel would certainly be published.  Which in turn
would make for a great screen-play.  Which in turn would generate the
funds necessary to purchase a tropical island.  Which would then serve as
the base of operations for World domination.
More likely though, it would provide the ideal location for
an avant-garde treatment facility for female crack addicts from the
inner-cities of the World's capitals.  Somewhat similar to the inpatient
facility created by Eric Clapton in the Caribbean.  Remember, these young
women do represent a viable source of labor, and are in disperate need of
getting away from the environment they barely survive in long enough to get
off the terrible merry-go-round that currently enslaves them.  Not that
it makes any difference, but most are probably not HIV positive.  I
  cannot stress that enough.
Anyway, what a disservice to humanity it would be to ignore
the possibilities in light of our collective wisdom of psubs.
Hey! It's the Fourth of July!  Lord Tarlton, and
Cornwallace be-damned!  My ancestors kicked your asses off the
  North-American continent you arrogant bloody-bastards!
  TTYL,
  Big Dave

    Hi Ya'll,

I'm in Atlanta for awhile now, the big move from NZ
    !

Thanks Vance for the recommendation  of the book 'The
sun beneath the sea '. I ordered it from Amazon, they found me a used copy,
sent it to NZ and I read it with great interest ! If I am a typical
customer, Amazon should be making money, they did out of me ! A
    great service all the same.

The book I found very informative and a great lesson in
leaving no stone unturned in the quest to achieve a project.

Who Vance, is Silvercrest, where is the sub, any idea of
the condition and $ to purchase ?

We went to Tampa in Florida the last weekend where a
friend works on a 200ft Coastguard cutter which I got to look over, very
    interesting.
I also got to see the big Russian sub that is for sale.
Only from a distance though, next time I'm in the area I will try for a
    better look.

I think I am the only one in the psub group that is in
Atlanta carrying the flag but I would if possible, like to meet up with
anyone in any of the nearby states if I get the chance. I will be down
Florida way again soon it seems. So let me know where you all are and I'll
see if I can make it !

I have been keeping up with all the posted emails to the
group, long live the group, the world is a better place for it ! You guys
all worn out ? Nothing controversial lately ? Not expecting a coup at all
Ray ? I'd watch that Big Dave guy, he might be getting ideas from my Pacific
neighbours in Fiji and the Solomon's (two great sub hotspots !) and he might
be behind the Haiti job. He always wanted an island of his own or a great
    psub site to run !

    Regards to you all,
    Karl.
